Chairman
It has taken several years of dedicated support by the local community
to make the Toowoomba Hospice become a reality and my sincere thanks go to these
businesses and people. However, in order to function at the level of expertise
we have set, we need your continuing support. The Hospice belongs to
the community of Toowoomba and surrounding districts and as such we are appealing
to you for your support. We are very proud of the achievements to date and are
now able to cater for the needs of the terminally ill and their loved ones.
I ask you not only as Chairman but as a community member to please support
this vital fundraising initiative of ours. |

The completion of the Toowoomba Hospice is a testament to
the ability of many people, across a wide range of gifts, skills and background,
to work together for a cause which captured their hearts and minds.
It
has been a constant challenge to all those involved to keep up the hard work in
spite of all the setbacks difficulties and challenges. Together we have show that
with determination, generosity and hard work we can do anything to which we set
our minds. When
visitors pass our hospice they will know that this community cares for those terminally
ill among us who need our loving support. Having
completed the facility it is now the turn of others to see that what has been
begun is continued with the same dedication, generosity and hard work. From
the beginnings we have had the support of the Ipswich Hospice and all those involved
with it. Let us too be ready to support and encourage other places and communities
in this great work of compassion and unconditional love, the care of the terminally
ill. |

and Finance Manager The
Toowoomba Hospice offers a high standard of care to all our clients but in order
to maintain this level we need to access all avenues of funding. The
local community and businesses were generous during the establishment phase of
the Hospice and we hope that this support will continue in helping us to maintain
our policy of providing a free service to the people of Toowoomba and the surrounding
region. |
