Making a Donation to the Toowoomba Hospice
The Hospice is a not-for-profit community organisation and the palliative care services are provided to clients on a nonfee basis. We rely on recurrent State funding and generous community support to run the Hospice.
Donations of $2 or more to the Toowoomba Hospice Association Incorporated are tax deductible. If you require more information about making a donation please contact the fundraising manager.
Join the Hospice Association
Toowoomba Hospice is a community based organisation. By joining Hospice, you are immediately providing support for an essential community service. Support in any form, from our members, and the Community is always welcome, and appreciated. We all have someone, or know someone, who will need our services.
Supporting Hospice is a great way to let those you love, and the Community, know how much you care.
Support our Ongoing Fundraising Activities
Fundraising is one of our most important factors, to ensure our Community Hospice continues to provide the high standard of service our clients need, and deserve. Any form of fundraising activity, such as donations, special fundraising events, school fun days, and employee payroll deduction programs are all appreciated.
Interested Community Groups/Organisations can support Hospice, by holding specially designated Hospice fundraising events.
Become a Volunteer
Volunteering is a rewarding, and challenging experience. Our volunteers are irreplaceable, and endeared to us, by their support. Volunteering creates new friendships, provides new experiences, training, and engenders higher self-esteem, just to know that you are helping our Community.
Hospice is reliant on the support from our roster of volunteers and we are always seeking more, for any task throughout Toowomba Hospice, no matter how small.
Tell others about the Hospice
Word of mouth is the greatest form of promotion. Telling your friends, family, work associates, and organisations, about Hospice is how this Community endeavour continues.
If you would like Mr mark Munro to provide a presentation to your school, organisations, or workplace, please, do not hesitate to contact the office.

What your Bequest will mean to the Toowoomba Hospice
The ability of the Toowoomba Hospice to meet the challenges of providing quality palliative and respite care for the community in the years ahead depends very much on the generosity of people like you.
Your bequest will be a lasting gift to our community and a worthy way of commemorating your life.
Please take some time to consider making a bequest or gift to the Toowoomba Hospice, and let us know what you decide by contacting us. All enquiries will be treated as strictly confidential.
We can't do it without you
Funding to employ highly trained staff is needed to ensure our palliative and respite care remain accessible to everyone.
Your financial support will supplement our funding, allowing us to provide a comprehensive palliative care program.
Here are just a few examples of how your bequest or gift will assist:
Equipment for patients
Homely items such as linen, CDs, and aromatherapy oils
Training of Hospice volunteers
Bereavement follow-up, including Services of Remembrance, and
Continuing education of staff and volunteers
Making a Bequest:
A bequest is a gift made through a Will, and a true statement of your commitment and concern for others.
You may wish to make your bequest to the Toowoomba Hospice in the following ways:
The Residue
When you have provided for your family and friends you may wish to
leave the residuary estate (what is left) to the Toowoomba Hospice.
A Percentage
You may decide to share your estate between a number of people
and charitable organisations. Stating a percentage for each one allows
for inflation or possible changes in your estate.
A Specific Bequest
You may wish to state a specific sum of money, and for a specific
purpose.
A Bequest of Property or an Asset
You may also wish to leave property, works of art or other assets
from your estate.
If you are interested in leaving a bequest to the Toowoomba Hospice, please call Shane Charles of Condon Charles Lawyers who have generously offered to prepare a standard will at no cost to you whatsoever.
